Compost Sale, 5/22 and 5/29

Aloha Compost Connoisseur –

With the school year drawing to a close, the Windward Zero Waste School Hui staff has been busy harvesting the last of the compost piles built and completed in 2019, prior to the COVID shutdown.  Because we sadly lost a full year of production due to school closures, this will be the last batch available until Summer of 2022.  Get it, use it, and love it while you can!

The gorgeous, nutrient-rich, microbially-active, hand-crafted artisanal compost we are justly famous for will be available over the next two weekends only.  First come, first served, while supplies last.

Please bring your own containers – buckets, boxes, bags, etc.

Saturday, May 22nd, 9am-1pm
ENCHANTED LAKE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

Enter the double gate at the far left of the property as you face the school.

Saturday, May 29th, 9am-1pm
KAILUA INTERMEDIATE SCHOOL

Enter the double gate in the chain-link fence at the Lanikai end of Kainalu Drive, just past the KIS campus buildings

Compost: $10/bucketful (one cubic foot)

Vermicast: Both schools have recently harvested their worm bins, so we also have plenty of fresh worm castings available in bulk at $3/pound, or pre-packaged at $15/five pounds.

FREE MULCH at both sites!

All proceeds benefit our Windward Zero Waste Schools.

We hope to see you soon – mahalo!
